Black aluminum profile: stylish and functional

A black aluminum profile is an extruded profile that is given a black color during or after the anodizing process or powder coating. This not only creates a different appearance, but both anodizing and powder coating also offer additional protection against wear and corrosion (which, of course, also applies to all other colors).

The disadvantage is that black anodized profiles are more susceptible to stains, scratches, and/or damage. Anodizing applies a color layer to the material, and damage to a black anodized profile is more likely to surface than to a technically clear anodized profile, as the color of the raw material is (raw) and therefore more visible in black than in technically clear (gray).

With black powder-coated profiles, it's a different story. Powder coating applies a color layer to the material, and the texture we apply to our profiles makes them less susceptible to dust and dirt.
